The Three Secrets of Employee Engagement: Designing An Organization that Doesn't Suck

Even though the idea of “employee engagement” has been around awhile, many times our organizations aren’t as energized as we’d like them to be. Your group will discover a refreshingly simple way to approach engagement that creates a more energizing place to work and better business results at the same time. Attendees will learn: 1) What sustainable employee engagement is all about, 2) A simple and memorable framework for implementing engagement, 3) How to shift personal behaviors and instantly boost workplace energy.

This will be a unique session as there will be an artist graphically representing the session real time!

About  Josh Allan Dykstra and Greg Whicker

Josh  is a recognized thought leader on the future of work and company culture design. His articles and ideas have been featured by Fast Company, Forbes, The Huffington Post, and Business Insider. He is a co-founder of Forte, a consulting group that helps leaders and entrepreneurs design energizing company culture, and a co-founder of The Work Revolution, a movement/advocacy group that promotes life-giving work environments for everyone. Josh's eclectic background includes projects with organizations like Apple, Sony, Genentech, Microsoft, HTC, and UCLA as well as startups and nonprofits. He holds an MBA in Executive Leadership from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and his latest book, Igniting the Invisible Tribe: Designing An Organization That Doesn’t Suck, is available on Amazon.com.

Greg is a creative visual thinker who helps to lead groups and individuals toward specified goals through the skilled use of graphics and visual language in meetings, presentations and off-site gatherings. By creating large, colorful illustrations, he organizes complex issues, key topics, and main ideas into visual form, allowing participants to see more clearly the issues before them, and to engage with the drawing's content as it unfolds. The added visual dimension helps to break down barriers and adds an element of fun, supporting more open dialogue, higher levels of collaboration, and making sessions more engaging, productive, and memorable overall.
