Participants will learn a model that outlines a coaching process they can use with individuals, teams, or an entire organization, and will practice foundational coaching competencies through role plays, group exercises, and case studies.

    Many talent development professionals have discovered that they need to add coaching to their skill set. This two-day workshop demonstrates the functions of a successful learning professional in the role of coach, including using an interactive process to help clients develop more rapidly and produce more satisfying results, and improving others' ability to set goals, take actions, make better decisions, and make full use of their natural strengths. Participants will learn a model that outlines a coaching process they can use with individuals, teams, or an entire organization, and will practice foundational coaching competencies through role plays, group exercises, and case studies.

    In addition to skill-building on the coaching competencies, the workshop covers collecting data, establishing action plans, measuring and tracking results, and planning and managing the coaching program, to meet the specific needs of learning professionals. The content of this program is based on the ATD Competency Study and helps in preparation for obtaining the CPLP™ credential.     Did you ever wonder how to use more than one delivery methodology to enhance the effectiveness of your training? With technology allowing for increased opportunities to “flip the classroom” and reach our learners at the moment of need, knowing how to effectively blend learning programs is a critical skill for training professionals. Learn best practices for selecting and using the appropriate mix of innovative learning technologies to design effective blended solutions.

    Blended learning occurs when the best delivery methodologies available for each specific learning objective are incorporated into a curriculum. While you may have been blending pre- and post-program elements into your training mix for years, the increasing prevalence of learning technologies and tools requires a more strategic look at the most effective ways to integrate delivery methodologies.  

    This unique ATD program uses a blended learning approach to model the concepts taught in the workshop.  You’ll begin by completing a pre-work assignment that you’ll continue to work with throughout the course. In this workshop, developed in partnership with Russell Martin & Associates, participants will learn how to better manage the critical project management role that helps us deliver learning and performance solutions in a way that supports business goals. The workshop provides concrete steps to improve project management skills and a method that is repeatable yet flexible.

    PMI Certifications: Russell Martin & Associates is a Registered Education Provider through PMI. Through this program, you can receive up to 14 PDUs (professional development units) toward the Project Management Professional Certification. Check with the Project Management Institute for their requirements.
