CPLP Study Group Leaders
Sue Sorensen the Director of KB University for KB Home, a national top ten homebuilder. Sue is also the designer and IP owner of all the “What Really Matter…” training products, including materials and instructor kits on a variety of management training topics and the best-selling What Really Matters Competency Cards. Sue has a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology from USC, and, of course, a CPLP designation.
Dr. Jo Lynn Feinstein was part of the pilot Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) program and among the first to earn the designation. Since then, she has renewed her certification twice, served as a question writer and reviewer for the CPLP knowledge exam, and delivered training for the CPLP exam prep program. She holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership and an MBA. Jo Lynn served for the first time as a reviewer for ASTD’s Best in Practice awards. She has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in organization management, communication and training, and currently works with DaVita-HealthCare Partners in Torrance.
Shari Hanlon is a self-proclaimed “Strengths zealot” who believes in the power of maximizing ones’ strengths while managing around one’s weaknesses. She earned a CPLP designation and has successfully recertified twice. She facilitated a CPLP study group in Portland, Oregon. Shari and her team serve a community bank in Santa Barbara, CA, where they find innovative ways to enable associates to act as the architects of their own development. On the personal side, Shari is a tireless follower of all things zombie, and was once a big winner on “Wheel of Fortune”!
