Mentoring is a formal relationship between two people, one more experienced than the other, focused on professional and career development. Pairs will engage in purposeful and regular meetings to create career goals, share industry expertise, offer feedback and ensure progress to mutually determined outcomes.
To assist active members of the ATD-LA community in their personal professional development needs, the ATD-LA Mentor Program will run once a year for six months. Applications will be accepted during the first quarter of the year and Mentors and Mentees will then meet once a month from the early spring until the fall. The Mentor Program Team will create the matches and host a formal Meet & Greet for the final pairs and a program orientation. To support the ongoing discussions, content will be distributed monthly to all participants.
This program is a member benefit and only available to current ATD-LA members.
