Jolts: Activities that Will Wake Up and Engage Your Participants

Problem: Experiential exercises often require such a long time to prepare and to conduct that no time is available for debriefing.

Solution: Use a Jolt! Jolts are powerful learning tools to jump-start your sessions in less than 5 minutes and provide an emotional impact resulting in surprise and discovery. Your participants will sit-up, listen, learn, and gain instant insights into your training topics. The entire session will be hands-on, using jolts to teach you about jolts.

Session Objectives:

  • Select and conduct a jolt at the appropriate time in a training session for effectively achieving your objectives.
  • Learn how to leverage your participant's introspection and interaction with follow-on debriefing activities.
