There has been a lot of talk lately about Talent Management. Is this a new piece of the people management puzzle or just a fancy new name for what we have already been doing? And if the term does refer to a new area of professional practice, how does it fit in with the existing HR function? What competencies do HR professionals need in order to be able to transition into talent management functions?
This session will address the true nature of Talent Management. You will learn:
- What Talent Management really is
- How Talent Management fits with the HR function
- What are the skills, knowledge, and competencies HR professionals need to be effective practitioners of Talent Management
- Why Talent Management is more important now than ever before in the global marketplace
