The Mindful Executive
"Mindfulness" in the modern vernacular refers to paying attention in a particular way, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgmentally. One's ability to do this is enhanced through practices like daily meditation.
Once the exclusive parlance of hippies and Zen monks, more and more, organizations and executives are seeing the value of "mindful" behavior and regular mindfulness practice in the workplace.
What does the behavior of a "mindful" executive look like in the "real world"? Join your fellow colleagues as we explore and discuss mindfulness in the workplace. Our discussion will be inspired by a thought provoking coaching tip by Tom Henschel: The Mindful Executive.
The RoundTable is an exciting approach that stimulates incredible conversation and insight around the topics and trends impacting our discipline.
We will read the selected piece aloud together for about 15 minutes. Then for the next 45 minutes, we offer everyone in attendance equal time to share their thoughts and experiences on or around the topic. Come explore with us!
