Enhancing Global Virtual Teams Through Training
Much of today's work is accomplished in global virtual teams, but how effectively is training preparing these teams to succeed? The stakes are high for these teams to deliver, but too often, they are not fully effective due to complexity, lack of team cohesion, competing priorities, and other factors. Training can play an important role in driving performance to a higher level.
Join your fellow colleagues as we explore and discuss a proposed model for virtual team success. Our discussion will be inspired by an article from Marjorie Derven published in a recent issue of Training magazine.
The RoundTable is an exciting approach that stimulates incredible conversation and insight around the topics and trends impacting our discipline.
We will read the selected piece aloud together for about 15 minutes. Then for the next 45 minutes, we offer everyone in attendance equal time to share their thoughts and experiences on or around the topic. Come explore with us!
