Topic: Increase Learning By Lowering Walls: How To Make Training Approachable

We will take a look at strategies and tactics for lowering the walls between you and participants to improve their chances of learning and retention.  We will talk through ways to reduce tension, quickly form relationships and win over a tough crowd.  In addition, let’s talk about some ways to increase and maintain engagement during a tough training session!

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Any person who wears hats as a technical/subject matter expert, team leader, and trainer and would like actionable tips for developing their learner engagement skills.

Presenter: Jacob Rothbaum is the Manager of Learning and Organizational Development at Otter Media in Santa Monica, CA.  He has worked on training teams in the franchise and media sector where he has had to design and deliver training for various audiences.  He has a strong interest in coaching and development others and has been successful at using operational data to design learning experiences that close the skills gap with many teams.
