What Really Matters: How to Utilize Competencies

Competencies.  We hear the word and generally know what we mean: skills, talents, abilities.  But do we have any fun teaching our leaders or managers about them?  Do we know how to understand them in a way that will make a difference?  In hiring?  In performance management?  In career development?  Come spend an enjoyable hour with Sue Sorensen utilizing What Really Matters… Competency Cards, a fabulous trainer’s tool.  You’ll take away some new skills, and receive some free resources and activities that you can easily utilize with clients if you are external or with managers and teams if you are in-house.

About Sue

Sue Sorensen is the designer of the entire trademarked “What Really Matters…” management training series.  Sue’s credentials include a Master’s Degree from USC, SPHR and CPLP certifications.

She has been designing and delivering HR and training initiatives since the early 1990’s.  Early on Sue worked in-house corporate training management roles, her last role as a National Vice President of T&D for a top ten construction company.  Sue is now President and lead consultant for SSA Training, exclusive providers of What Really Matters… training products and services.
