Food and Dietary Requests
ATD-LA volunteers do not have access to kitchens or food services. The ATD-LA office will hand off your request to the catering manager. Therefore, you must make requests to the catering manager or designate on your registration form where offered. The catering team will use reasonable efforts to accommodate your request through the preparation and handling processes.
However, it is ultimately up to the you to use individual discretion to make an informed choice regarding whether to consume any particular items or its substitution. Should you need to address any further dietary concerns, please meet with the catering liaison.
ATD-LA negotiates a group volume rate per person for larger catered events and most events held at hotels. Hotels typically require a minimum headcount. If you come an event that included a meal (food and/or beverage) that you didn't consume, we are unable to prorate or refund your registration. Some special dietary requests may result in an additonal fee by the vendor and will be passed-on to the requestor.
All Meetings, Conferences and Events “No Show” Policy
If you registered and neither cancelled or didn’t attended the event, you will remain charged (debited or invoiced) for the total value of the order. No future classroom credit will be given, nor will you be provided a copy of the class materials.
Chapter Meetings Walk In Registration Policy
We welcome our members and non-members to join our events and meetings when possible. We know that your schedule can change so we do our best to accommodate walk-ins. However, some events and meetings will only provide materials to those that have registered in advance. We cannot guarantee that walk-ins will be able to receive the same materials at the event or afterward, unless posted. Your admission rate will not decrease because you did not receive materials. Please register online before attending events so that vendors will prepare for your attendance. You can use self-service methods to register before the event or by the registration deadline date.
Chapter Meeting Pre-Event Cancellation
If you are unable to attend an event after you registered, we will provide you a refund, minus all processing costs. Processing costs are currently $5 per transaction. This courtesy is only offered if the registrant cancels their registration 3 days (72 hours) before an event start time. We do not provide credit for another date or a future workshop. Cancellations must be requested in writing and emailed to: email@example.com
Lost and Found
The chapter is not responsible for your lost, stolen or broken items personal items/property. If you leave any items at the venue, you must contact the venue directly.
The chapter is not responsible for your parking, third party parking attendants or your vehicle. Some venues and parking lots will charge a fee for parking. The chapter is not responsible for parking rates or the protection of your vehicle. When possible we will ask the venue to pass on a discounted rate to our members and attendees.
Photography,Video and Images
ATD-LA periodically uses takes and uses photos related to events and activities that may include images of members or guests, whether individually or as part of a larger group. These photos are used for various chapter publications, including the chapter website, vidoes, presentations, social media, email marketing, newsletters and printed material. By registering or attending our events, you grant ATD-LA and its designated volunteers permission to use these images in the manner described and waive all claims for compensation for such use. By registering for this event, I do hereby give ATD Los Angeles and and its associates or assigns, or anyone acting under its authority or permission, the irrevocable and unrestricted right and permission to: capture the image, audio, and content via photograph, videotape, audiotape, transcription, or other means now available, copyright in its own name or otherwise, and use, reuse, publish, and republish any and all material of which I presented, or may have been included in presenting, in whole or in part. I consent to the use of all media now or hereafter known for illustration, promotion, art, editorial, advertising, trade, or any other purpose whatsoever. I hereby waive any right that I may have to inspect or approve the finished product or products and the advertising copy or other matter that may be used in connection therewith or the use to which it may be applied. If I do not provide permission, I understand that I will not activate my web camera during virtual sessions.
Conferences & Workshops Pre-Event Cancellation
If you are unable to attend the conference after you have registered, we will provide you a refund minus all processing costs. Processing costs are currently $25 per transaction. This courtesy is only offered if the registrant cancels their registration 7 business days before an event start date because of the catering and conference room deposits. We do not provide credit for another date or a future workshop. Cancellations must be requested in writing and emailed directly to: email@example.com
