When uncertainty rises, leaders default to pressure-mode: faster decisions, more control, less listening. The result is predictable—lower trust, weaker ownership, burnout, and missed signals from the front line. Leadership trainers are in the middle of this reality, expected to equip leaders with practical tools that work during disruption, not just in calm periods.

In this interactive session, Dr. Damian Goldvarg (Ph.D., MCC) shares a clear, trainable approach from Lead with a Coaching Mindset to help leadership trainers design and deliver learning experiences that shift leaders from “command-and-fix” to coaching behaviors that build clarity, resilience, and accountability—especially when stakes are high.

You’ll leave with a workshop-ready structure, facilitation tips, and practice activities you can immediately plug into your leadership programs (virtual or in-person).

This is not theory.

It’s a set of tools you can teach on Monday and see in action by Friday.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn to teach a simple coaching conversation structure leaders can use under pressure
  • Build micro-practices that develop listening, questioning, and accountability in real workplace scenarios
  • Facilitate feedback and performance conversations using a coaching mindset—without losing standards or urgency
  • Diagnose common “challenging times” patterns (control, reactivity, avoidance) and coach leaders to shift behaviors
